My Parents Renovation.

So my parents are insanly talented and ambitious. My dad was offered a free house if he would move it from one plot of land to another. Well, that sounds great huh? But, as you can see above there was a reason it was free. A typical rancher, falling apart with nothing about it to love, my parent’s looked at this junk heap and knew there was potential. They went to work and began an amazing transformation.
Well so far, so good. The house doesn’t even resemble the old house. With lots of talent and creativity, they have added tons of craftsmen style details. It looks amazing and it isn’t even finished. More to come, so stay posted.

I always say, “A good designer will take what their client loves and make it look fabulous.” As you can see from these new projects by Phoebe Howard, she displays versatility on every project. No project is the same, but they are all beautiful and pulled together in just the right ways.
Mirrors, Mirrors on the Wall!

I love collections displayed beautifully on a wall together. I am a big mirror person! I have more mirrors as wall decor than art because they seem to fit my ever changing style. I am in love with this focal wall of different mirrors. It is what I refer to as planned chaos. It seems to be just thrown together but each mirror is hung in just the right spot to create balance and interest. Very nice!!

4 SepWell there was definitely some great scenery and locations. Also some not so great ones. Note, I am never going to India! I can say it was an interesting look into the mind of a person trying to find themselves. I can’t say I felt she ever really did soooo…… I give it an (shrug shoulders) EEHH…
